Regional training course on Roma youth participation and combating antigypsyism

The Youth Department of the Council of Europe is organising a regional training course on Roma youth participation and combating antigypsyism scheduled to be held during 6-9 November in Vilnius, Lithuania.

The training course will aim to develop the competences of participants in acting against antygipsyism and supporting the participation of young Roma with the intention of supporting the social and economic condition of the Roma communities at national and local level. The course will gather young people, activists, educators, youth leaders and other interested in promoting non-discrimination and youth participation.

The event is organised in partnership with the Department of National Minorities of the Government of the Republic of Lithuania, Ministry of Culture of Latvia, and the Ministry of Culture of Estonia with the support of “Sare Rome” Roma youth organisation from Lithuania.
