In April 23, Marijampolė town the conference “The history of the Roma minority: the emergence of Europe from the 20th century genocide” will be held.
During the conference reports about Romani history and holocaust will be presented by social anthropologist, Roma culture researcher – Aušra Simoniukštytė and The Genocide and Resistance Research Centre of Lithuania, The Genocide and Resistance Department director dr. Arūnas Bubnys.
This conference is organized by Department of National Minorities Under The Government of The Republic of Lithuania together with Education Development Centre.
