International human rights day is in December 10.
Since 1950s, The United Nations encourages to commemorate this day.
In Lithuania human rights are preserved on the basis of the United Nations Universal Declaration of human rights, the United Nations Convention on the rights of the child, the European Convention on human rights and the Convention for the protection of fundamental freedoms, the Constitution of the Republic of Lithuania.
