From the 29th of May to 1st of June 2023 a study visit to Heidelberg (Germany) organized by the project ‘Lithuanian Roma Platform – going local’ (part 5) took place. The main topic of the visit – the fight against anti-gypsyism. During the visit, meetings with the representatives of The Central Council of German Sinti and Roma, Documentation and Cultural Center of German Sinti and Roma and Heidelberg University were held.
Lithuania was represented by the Chief specialist of Relations with National Communities Gražina Sluško, Head of Relations with National Communities Rasa Paliukienė, Head of the Roma Center Svetlana Novopolskaja, Chairman of the Organization of Roma Intellectuals Gopalas Michailovskis and Roma community representative Rumina Rumianceva.
