In January 25, at 9.30 a.m. in the Department of National Minorities of the Government of the Republic of Lithuania (Raugyklos st. 25, Vilnius) will be held a meeting for Roma integration into Lithuanian society 2015-2020, implementation of the action plan.

International Holocaust Remembrance Day is an international memorial day on 27 January commemorating the tragedy of the Holocaust that occurred during the Second World War. In January 29, a book for children “Aš esu Karolis” about Roma holocaust will be presented.

In February 13, in Vilnius city municipality a meeting for Vilnius (Kirtimai) Roma community integration into society of the year 2016-2019 will be organized.

In the eve of Lithuania independence restoration, in February 15, in Department of National Minorities an exhibition “Together we created Lithuania” will be opened. This exhibition presents the ethnic communities living in Lithuania, contribution to the formation of the Lithuanian statehood, the fight for independence, the fostering of Lithuanian culture and international recognition.    

The meeting will be held on 22 February in the Department of National Minorities to discuss issues of Roma education.

The meeting of Roma women In February 26-27 the meeting for Roma women will be organized in Anykščiai town. Roma coordinators meeting In March 9, 11.00, meeting for Roma coordinators will be organized in Vilnius, Department of National Minorities. During the meeting Roma mediators will present their reports of 6 months activities, achieved results and future goals.  

The workshop Evaluation of The EU Framework for National Roma Integration Strategies up to 2020 will take place in 15 March from 09:30 to 16:30, in Brussels.

A seminar on Roma history and Holocaust will be held on 8th of June for the teachers in Jašiūnai (Šalčininkai district).

The final meeting with the Roma Platform coordinators will be held on 12-13 of June in Ventės Ragas. During the seminar the coordinators will share their thoughts on the project and their future plans. The participants will also take part in the seminar “Speek freely: The Basics of Public Presentation”.

The seminar on Roma history and Holocaust for teachers of Ukmergė district will take place on 15th of June.
